We spent the day laying a floating floor at one of our friends / customers house. This is the first part with the second to follow shortly.
In this video you will see us build and lay the sub frame, followed by the moisture resistant chipboard flooring and then finally we even lay the carpet for them and put the sofas back in the room.

Been watching a few of your vids nice to see the real world for once.It did make me laugh though poor old Chaz sealing all those joints with that tape to stop the draughts and the roof on that conservatory will not keep any heat in.

Did you need to put joists in ? With the floor being level couldn’t you just float the floor on insulation?
