Do you use quarter round in the closet as well?
What exact color is the wall in the beginning of the video?
It’s a million times easier if you click the whole row together first
He has a lot of microgaps from not tapping enough. Tap that baby nice and snug
With all of those spacers and nothing but gravity holding the floor down, wouldn’t it just slide around over time?
I do not even own a house… How am I here?
10:27 use stained Qtr Rd there next time…or change it to stained
Take the baseboard off. Don’t use quarter round like a chump.
Festool is all i could see
I hate quarter rounds
does this work on all liminates? I’m eyeing one for $0.69 per sf. thanks
1st time home buyer. I asked the home inspector if he could tell or check to see if I hadbhardwood floor. All he did was pull a vent amd was like Nope. Home is 2100sq ft. So yeah def. Going laminated route. I’ll hire a professional for the formal areas. I have 4bd rooms. All new carpet. I may just start in one of the spare rooms good video
how much money needed if I do it…
Read a lot of bad reviews on that pergo gold. All were same, noisy when walking over. Sounded like ‘crinkling’, ‘walking on empty aluminum cans”, ‘walking on bubble wrap’ etc. About to put in a room at my house and not wanting to have to hear any of that when finished. Thinking of taking underlament back to lowes and finding some felt or other under lament. I do not need vapor barrier where I am putting in floor. Read key was not using self advisement strips, but taking off and using tape. On the fence now , grrrr.
Why not take off the molding lol so easy
Dude. You are doing way too much extra work. It could be a lot easier.
Any moron can install laminate flooring
Music as do minho
Lot of shite laminate does not expand
Why don’t you use CORK that is transpirant and natural as underlayer in stand of the PERGO?? Btw great video!!
On all laminate floors need quarter round trim??
dude take a breath. Your speed of talk damn…. calm down
What are the shims against the wall used for? Do you not want the flooring to touch the wall?
Haha, cracked me up. “Well, that’s not gonna work”. I appreciate showing the errors, adds value.
Nice job
Smh……lol
thanks for this content ! I’m excited to learn more and be able to do my own simple renovations at home
Question, My bi-level recently flooded and just 2 years after installing a 12mm laminate with a foam backing. I too have cement so I layed visqueen as an extra precaution. If I replace it with the same as before (but one that’s NOT made with the toxic levels of formaldehyde from Lumber Liquidators lol) do I still need that vapor barrier?
I always see these floors installed in basements. Are they not suitable for 2nd or 3rd floors of houses? For instance, could you remove a badly damaged hard wood floor and install this instead?
