Here is a general idea about floating engineered hardwood floor installation. You can use this technique when you are installing your engineered hardwood on concrete. Most of all people do it in the basements and on the ground floors. If you install a laminate floor, it is not necessary to glue one board to another.

Awesome job. Do you have to put glue on the edge?
Thanks for posting
do you have video for the engineered floating T&G floor installation around the stair or bull nose at opening areas? any general idea ?
I wish I had that guys safety earmuffs for that music…
I noticed that you work out of 1 box at a time. Aren’t you suppose to open 5 boxes and mix them? Thats how I install floors. This way you get a mixture of the floor throughout.
Do you need to put glue for a engineered flooring (Click Lock)? Glue on each piece?
Are these tongue and grove panels if they are do you still have to put glue – thanks for your posts and replies
Great job! You stay busy all the time huh? Take care
Hello. Great video here! I have a simple question. I have a slight bump underneath my carpet. I’m planning on installing new engineered hardwood. Do i have to fix the floor underneath before installing? Would it make it big difference?
Thanks in advance :O)
