Nightmare Baseboard Install !!!

Installing baseboard can be a nightmare on uneven floors. In this video, Andrew shows you how to use a level as a guide for scribing baseboard to match the uneven floor. This makes for a faster, cleaner looking baseboard install.

Lay a carpenter’s pencil flat on the floor and your board to be scribed in final position. Scribe. This will usually result in a scribe line 1/8″ above the floor.

This may be a dumb question but why not cut it flat and caulk the gaps?

What do you mean when you scribe from the high end to the skinny end, is that the same as working from the high spot to the lowest spot at the floor!
