RONA – How to Install Suspended Ceiling

Suspended ceilings are the ideal solution for rooms in the basement where ducts, pipes and cables are located and require direct access. The installation is easy and takes less than a weekend.

Tools and materials you’ll need:

• 16-gauge wire
• 24” x 24” or 24” x 48” acoustical ceiling tiles
• Chalk line
• Cross T members
• Drill
• Drywall screws
• Eyebolt hardware
• L-shaped perimeter moulding
• Main T members (main runners)
• Measuring tape
• Paper pad
• Pencil
• Pliers
• Ruler
• Squarre
• String
• Tin snips
• Utility knife
• Working gloves

Im assuming that grid is not to scale. Because 134″ would only fit less than 3 four foot tiles and you have 6?

wow! you really did use a square to square youre ceiling!!!!! 52 1/4 for normal 15/16 grid
