Thank you very much for showing this. I was starting from the door frame of the room, where the carpet met the tile into the hallway and couldn’t get it pulled up. Starting from the corner was much easier.  The carpet was here when we moved in 9 yrs ago & seems to be very good quality – like a heavy wool possibly. However, I’ve never experienced a carpet that gets as filthy as this one does, so ripping it out is the only way. Well no more procrastinating….time to get on it. Thanks again!

Thanks for being the only one to show you how to remove carpet without destroying and cutting it into pieces! There are weird bumps on the floor under the carpet that I want to look at and see if I can smooth out or remove in my new place, but the carpet is all new and beautiful.
